Description
At the end of each Karate Class, we recite the “Hitotsu”, the Five Rules or Points for the Dojo and in our everyday lives. This creed is credited to the “Father of Shotokan Karate” Gichin Funakoshi yet may have been created by Kanga Sakukawa.
On this notebook, my father, Karate Master Kancho T. Okuyama did calligraphy for the “Hitsotsu”. This high quality notebook is perfect for notetaking, bullet journaling, gratitude journals or personal use in general. It will be a wonderful way to archive your notes you hold dear. The dot grid pages is very special and preferred over lined pages.
My father, Karate Master Kancho Takemasa Okuyama, does beautiful Japanese Calligraphy which is revered around the world. We are excited to expand his esteemed artwork and calligraphy now, to you!
